Distinctive Home PS opens in downtown Palm Springs at 301 N. Palm Canyon Drive with an eclectic mix of furniture and accessories. The focus is unique accent pieces with style and dazzle. Many are reminiscent of the glamorous Hollywood days and echo the style of the famous decorator William Haines, such as: The Hostess Chair, The Elbow Chair, The Tufted Clover Ottoman and The Harlowe Console. There are also high gloss salon tables, zebra patterned slipper chairs and snakeskin covered tables in the mix.

In contrast a thick glass dining table with a massive cross leg base in polished steel is paired with Parsons dining chairs in sleek grey raincoat fabric. Thin profile Italian brown leather dining chairs surround a green lacquer table.

Throughout the store sculptures of tall tree branches and lacey metal coral stand next to bold abstract art and rustic woven rattan panels. Vignette settings display a treasure trove of accessories from Chihuly style glass centerpieces, fun martini glasses to designer candleholders, oversized floor vases and coco stick lamps. Huge, extravagant arrangements of lifelike faux desert flowers add a pop of color and scale.
